Correct way to exit open OPTIONS positions without impacting the margin?

Hi,
When i exit the BUY position in OPTIONS from kite mobile app, The SELL order gets placed without additional margin.

However when i am placing the SELL order manually (having had an open BUY position), it is attracting the huge margin of selling options, which being more than my account balance, resulting in the order getting rejected.

I am using kite.order_place() for this with product ="MIS" (same as my open BUY position.)

Am i doing anything incorrect?

@Shaha Kite android and Kite web uses the same API as we give to our Kite Connect clients so there shouldn't be any difference in this.
