For historical data via API, the documentation says "from" and "to" period. I assume "to" can be yesterday. But what is the initial "from" - i mean the very first date of data availability for each instrument/index? Is there a way to find this out?

Hi @bk18, You can use it anytime according to your requirement. For MCX as of now, you can see data for contracts that are live and we are working on providing historical data for expired MCX contracts.
We have day data for NSE scrips from JAN 1996 and for BSE scrips from JAN 2008.
We have minute data for up to 2 years.
