Funds added while creating account not visible in API response

While creating my account, I was asked to add Rs. 2000 to my account to proceed with the sign up process. I did that. But I am not seeing the same in the the https://api.kite.trade/user/margins/equity API's response. What is the reason for that?

What variable represent the usable funds in my account ?

    Hi @arsh8singhs,
    The amount you paid is for Kite Connect subscription. It is not for Zerodha funds.
    To add funds to Zerodah account you can use any of our trading platforms.
