Today was my first day of API usage. Looking at the logs not sure whats the issue? Are APIs really stable and working?
1. Login after 8:45 AM 2. ERRORS Invalid HTTP status from OMS (404) - 10 times Trading Symbol Doesn't exist for the exchange - 36 times before session expired.
Few examples with date and contract details below.
1. Order was placed at 30-10-2017 09:30:17 - ZEEL17NOVFUT 2. 30-10-2017 09:30:19 - ANDHRABANK17NOVFUT - Trading Symbol Doesn't exist for the exchange 3. 30-10-2017 09:30:19 - ASHOKLEY17NOVFUT - Invalid HTTP status from OMS (404) 4. 30-10-2017 09:30:19 - ASIANPAINT17NOVFUT - Trading Symbol Doesn't exist for the exchange 5. 30-10-2017 09:30:21 - BHARATFORG17NOVFUT - Trading Symbol Doesn't exist for the exchange 6. Order was placed at 30-10-2017 09:30:21 - CANBK17NOVFUT 7. Order was placed at 30-10-2017 09:30:22 - GODREJIND17NOVFUT 8. 30-10-2017 09:30:23 - IDBI17NOVFUT - Trading Symbol Doesn't exist for the exchange 9. 30-10-2017 09:30:24 - JUBLFOOD17NOVFUT - Invalid HTTP status from OMS (404)
Hi @shank278, Yesterday, there was some issue with one of the instances of OMS. It was resolved after some time.
The session can be expired when a user logs into any of our platforms like Pi or NEST. I would suggest using Kite for monitoring purpose. If you log out of any of the provided platforms including Kite, then your session will be cleared. Do give it another try and let us know on the same day if you face any issue.
@shank278, Kite Connect APIs are stable and issues can happen to any system especially when there are external dependencies. It is a coincidence that you faced it on the first day of the usage.
