Closing price updated too late !

Dear sir,

It's 8:15 PM.You still have not updated closing price for today.

Exchange publish it's closing price by 4:15.How we will be able to put trade if we don't have todays closing price ?

Hi @cusodha,
Bhavcopy is received at around 6:30 PM every day.
We don't update to bhavcopy's close price on the same day. We update it on next day around 4:30 AM.
We will change it in future.

We wish this to done on priority basis as We are end of day trading firm and until we don't have closing prices we can not place orders through api.

@sujith What Kite APIs have to do with third party Bhavcopy?

Bhavcopy is the record published by all the exchanges which state the close price of the day with other data.
It is a standard document used by almost every financial institution.

I am afraid we can't do it now. We have it on our list. We will do it in future.
