API client upgade confirmation and do I need to create a new api app?

I have just upgraded my kiteconnect API using the "pip install kiteconnect --upgrade --pre" command as given in the git repo. How do i confirm that I have the correct library?
On doing a 'pip3 search kiteconnect' I get "INSTALLED: 3.7.0b3 (latest)". Is this the correct library?

Also do I need to make any changes in the developer.kite.trade portal? Do I need to recreate a new app or can I continue using the existing app?

    Yes, you are on the latest version of the pykiteconnect.

    You can continue using the existing app.
