The historical data isn't adjusted in some cases and is adjusted in others

This is very frustrating. How can I be sure all of the data is consistent and true?


Example: AshokLeyland's data suddenly jumps from 98.6 to 4.63 and also there are days missing in between.

    The following dates are missing in Suzlon:

    2005-11-26
    2006-04-29
    2006-06-25
    2006-10-21
    2009-10-17
    2010-02-06
    2011-10-26
    2012-01-07
    2012-03-03
    2012-04-28
    2012-09-08
    2013-05-11
    2013-11-03
    2014-03-22
    2015-02-28

    Similarly, the rest of the data is full of holes.

    For AshokLeyland , there has been stock split between that time.
    For Suzlon, we are checking with data team.

    But afaik, the stock splits are adjusted in the historical data, right?

    Also, if you notice, the ashok leyland prices are missing for the bulk of january 2003 (as shown in the screenshot).

    Corporate action won't be adjusted for Historical data before 2010.

    I didn't find the above point (shared by you) mentioned in the docs, would be a good idea to include it.

    Please take care of the missing data. Its present in all the stocks. Can share the dates if needed.

    Can we have an expected date for the rectification of missing data?
