Instrument token file showing incorrect instrument_type

naz
@sujith : instrument token file is categorizing several NCDs/Bonds (debt instruments) as EQ. Can we please correct this:
This becomes really difficult to filter out instruments otherwise.

    Hi @naz,
We just parse and provide the instrument file as published by the exchange. We don't add, remove or modify the file.
You can check out this circular from NSE. These bonds are traded under Capital Market segment.

Thanks @sujith for a quick response. I agree that these come under capital market segment. But was wondering if it makes sense for you to parse and segregate it so that Zerodha's clients can directly grab all equity/stock instruments by filtering.
Will it be possible for you to provide the "Series" (EQ, BE, BZ) data in a separate column of instruments file, the way nseindia provides on a daily basis ?
