Set up for a local machine or a server

I went through the API documentation for kite connect. As I have no prior experience in connecting with the APIs, could you please help me with the following queries:

1. How can I connect my local machine to APIs (preferable though example in any coding language, e.g. python)
2. If I decide to move on to an amazon server, how will the set up be different?

Secondly, regarding pricing :

1. Does system APIs and historical data are priced each at Rs 2000 per month ?
2. If i need some historical data ( Let's say only last 1 month) for my strategy, can i get it for free, with the system APIs ?

    No we don't provide data without historical data addon.

    Thanks for a quick reply.

    Just to confirm , monthly charge of Rs 2000 will be applicable for next 30 days of the start date of subscription ?
