Holdings purchase date

Why does holdings() not return purchase dates of the security? Could a list of purchase dates also not be returned?

Currently,,we don't provide buy date in holding APIs.You can check this manually on console and create buy_date dictionary at your end. Something like:
{'SBIN':'24-01-2019','ONGC':'26-02-2019'}
