Getting INDEX SPOT price

How do I get live spot price for BANKNIFTY? in BANKNIFTY FUTURE quotes there is no field like underlying_price.

All INDEX quote need to be accessed individually, not along with it's F&O contract.Eg(python client):
kite.quote('NSE:NIFTY BANK')
