I don't see any issue here.
Kite Ticker stores the last tick received. It was last traded yesterday and the volume was 800.

volume is volume traded today since i'm lookin for date volume, not cumulative n days volume data
volume by definition is "Volume is the number of shares or contracts traded in a security or an entire market during a given period of time. " since the given period of time is current day, as i would like to see the quantity traded today in kite, why would yesterdays volume show up anywhere else? and if it did, all volume numbers would mean something else.

last trade may or may not be current date. and market depth is current offers

I am afraid we can't clear cache many of our processes and other users depend on that.
You can use the exchange timestamp field to check if it is today's tick.
