I am Zerodha's retail trader, I went through the API documentation for kite connect. As I have no prior experience in connecting with the APIs and Web Sockets, could you please help me with the following queries:
1. How can I connect my local machine to APIs (preferable though JAVA)
2. I need live data or 3 month data with depth for 1 symbal (instrument) to back-test. 3. how to get the Public token, and the above data with zerodha, is it charges Rs.2000 PM or free.

Yes you have to create an app to get access token and public token which costs Rs.2000 per app/month and if you are opting for historical data then it costs Rs.2000 more per month.
