on_ticks run every second or when any value inside tick changes?

Can someone please confirm if on_ticks run every second or when any value in tick changes? How can we force to receive tick every second?

Once you subscribe for ticks, only the first tick is force pushed to the client. Post that you will only receive ticks when there is a change in any of the values.
