I would like to use kite connect api to fully automate my strategy. However Zerodha support replied with the following,
"Fully automated trading by retail traders are not allowed by the exchanges in India. There has to be manual UI interaction to place the orders."
I don't understand why anyone would pay 2000 per month if the api is not used to fully automate trading ( placing order, modifying it, cancelling, calculating position etc).
