I order all equity instruments on NSE always. Today morning most of my instruments were showing BSE instead of NSE (where they were actually ordered). What is this? This caused a part of my code to fail.
@harshnisar, It shouldn't matter technically right? A holding will not have any exchange since it is your portfolio and you can sell wherever you are willing to.
Today we had done some changes which will fill the exchange as BSE for holdings whose value is less than 10,000. You can still make changes and sell orders on NSE but Kite will by default, show exchange as BSE.
In the future, we are planning to do some changes wherein we assign exchange to a holding (NSE/BSE) based on wherever the close price is higher.
