Hi, What is the typical time that it takes for an order to execute? Suppose i placed an order and it reached kite server at 10:00:00. How much time (approx) it will takes to reach the exchange and get executed? I am building an algorithm where i need to execute my order within 1 sec after i receive the quote. The time kite server takes to execute the order at exchange should be less than 1 sec. If it is not is there any way to execute the orders faster?
Also can you point me toward anything that may satisfy my requirement (like pi bridge or streak if they might work). Anything that takes less than 3 sec to execute the order might also work.
All these are powered by Kite Connect. So just give it a shot with Kite Connect and decide. We don't guarantee any timeline for order execution. But it is fast.
Generally, we don't recommend using Kite Connect for time-based strategies.
Kite Connect is not meant for HNI. It is just an alternative for the UI. I don't think Kite Connect suits your requirement.
