getting No data when using NSE instruments for historical but getting data for Futures

Hi team,

I have subscribed to historical API.
I am facing following problems:
kite.historical(instrument_token,'2016-09-05','2016-11-18','day')
If I am using instrument_token = 11808514 [ instrument token for ASIANPAINT16NOVFUT] I receive data.

If I am using instrument_token = 3195137 [ instrument token for 'ABIRLANUVO-BL']. I do not get data.

Can you please help me with this problem.

Hi @Rishant,

You cannot get data for expired contracts. Exchange reuse tokens, that is the reason we don't give historical data for expired contracts.

ABIRLANUVO-BL is not traded, hence there is no data. It is being traded on EQ series.
