Client ID and User ID - password

Hi There,

I just registered for a Kite Connect API access. I created an APP and when i tried to generate the Request Token as said in your videos, it takes me to a page where it asks for USer ID (6 characters only) and password.

1. Can i use the Client ID defined in the app as user ID?
2. Can't seem to set a password for this or reset password
3. If i click on reset password, it asks for PAN and email and then says Invalid credentials... not able to go to a reset page

Need help so that I can get my Request Token and then code my program.

    You need to use the Zerodha account credentials here.

    That userID field is only 6 characters length, but my Zerodha account ID is my email ID which is longer. Please note that I only have Zerodha Kite Connect account. What should I do?
