Data for NIFTY 50 and BANKNIFTY missing ?

earlier nifty 50 was coming but the volume field was empty ?

but now....history data for nifty 50 and banknifty is missing ??

is there any updation going on? and how to get volume for it ?

Can you paste from and to date you are trying to fetch?

@k365 Please paste your to and from dates; also note that indices aren't actually traded, only their derivatives are. So no volume exists.

but i require volume for nifty 50.
i have checked other sites too, they provide volume for it
so is ther any provision to get the volume ? or any future updates ?

@k365 You may be looking at volume for Nifty futures. Check for Nifty Dec Fut. This instrument will have volume. Indices, however, do not have a volume field as they aren't traded instruments.
