API secret not recieved

i know this is a lot obvious but i am unable to get api_secret via my dashboard or mail, do i have to register for getting api_secret because at the time of initiation it shows me that api access is given for both.

Have you created an app for connect or publisher?
You have to create Connect app to get the API key and Secret.
