Yes, there is a fixed monthly fee for accessing the APIs. You can see the exact fees after logging into your developer account. In addition, Zerodha's brokerage applies to executed orders–₹0 (FREE) for equity delivery and ₹20 flat for other segments. For individuals – REST-like HTTP trading APIs for individual traders
I see this when searching for api charges in google .... does it mean no brokerage charges with the monthly api subscription??
Every executed order at Zerodha will attract a brokerage of Rs 20 or 0.01% whichever is lower. Kite Connect subscription charges have nothing to do with Zerodha brokerage charges.
Then I think zerodha needs to edit the content which says "In addition, Zerodha's brokerage applies to executed orders–₹0 (FREE) for equity delivery and ₹20 flat for other segments." The link is posted above.
I read it .... And i understand that the business runs on brokerage. I was just concerned if it was a flat brokerage when the line says "0" and "Free"
Are there any fees? Yes, there is a fixed monthly fee for accessing the APIs. You can see the exact fees after logging into your developer account.
""""""In addition, Zerodha's brokerage applies to executed orders–₹0 (FREE) for equity delivery and ₹20 flat for other segments."""""" What does this line mean to you?? @sujith NOTE its says "Zerodha's brokerage" which caught my eyes.
@Twin_kim Not sure what you're suggesting should be changed here. The text reads
"Yes, there is a fixed monthly fee for accessing the APIs. You can see the exact fees after logging into your developer account.
In addition, Zerodha's brokerage applies to executed orders–₹0 (FREE) for equity delivery and ₹20 flat for other segments."
That's as accurate as it gets. The APIs are charged. The charges are shown on the developer dashboard. In addition to the charges, Zerodha's brokerage will apply. Zerodha charges 0 brokerage for delivery trades and Rs. 20 for everything else. That's what the text says. What's the ambiguity here?
Are there any fees?
