Need Clarification in Orders Param

What is pending_quantity and filled_quantity.

in docs simply said (pending_quantity -Pending quantity to be filled) and (filled_quantity -Quantity thats been filled)

filled_quantity mean is it bought?
pending_quantity mean is it pending to buy?
