Trigger price was 1109.75. Order placement request made at 09:30:19 If you check the 1min chart of INFY, 09:30:00 candle high was 1098 only. My order should have gone through without rejection. In the error message, it's saying that LTP at that time was 1112.45 which is wrong.
Could you please help me with the same? Let me know if any other information required.
@rakeshr I believe the day high and low in the market depth comes from NSE. (Let me know if I am wrong) The day high is 1109.7. Price never went to 1112.45 which is mentioned in the error message. Could you please check again?
The candle high is 1098 and error message says LTP is 1112.45. So you're saying that in a liquid stock like INFY there was just one tick with a difference of 15rs and it was not captured?
Thanks. I too faced similar issue with BNF options today. and posted a message related to that.. i was getting similar issue on SL orders. The strange thing was that if i put a break point and reexecute the same line, it gets executed after 1-2 try.
@Divakar58 From the above screen-shot, we see you are placing Trigger price as 445.65, which is lower than at time LTP(452.3). For the Buy SL-M order, you need to place a trigger price higher than LTP. Go through this article scenario 2 to know more about this.
Not all the prices are captured by the chart. You can go through this article to know more.
It doesn't happen everyday. I have observed it twice in this month.
If it happens again, I'll let you know.
