I am trying to place an order for GPIL wherein I get a nudge in UI suggesting it is a trade to trade stock but in UI we do get an option to still continue but when it comes to api call to place order, we get an exception and are unable to continue to still place an order.
Are you sure, that you are placing same order_type order as kite web on kite connect APIs? As the error suggests, you need to place non-market order_type i.e LIMIT, SL, etc.
We are placing limit orders - as we always have been placing - but we have only been getting this issue from last tuesday(13 July 2021). Please note that this is GPIL stock.
