If partially filled Limit order is converted to Market order, does it fill pending quantity?

If an SL Limit order has filled partial quantity, if we modify it to a Market order, will it fill only the pending quantity or the whole original quantity.
Since we dont have to pass all the order properties while modifying the order, my guess would be it will only execute the pending quantity only. Is that correct?
