Hi, Today, my order got rejected due to a shortfall in the margin. I tried to sell (through API) BANKNIFTY 41600 CE (expiry 15th SEPT) but the order got rejected. I have already sold 41600PE at a prior time. When I checked the margin requirement on Zerodha, it showed 172125/-. Please explain why my order got rejected.
The message state that the required margin was 197583. You can refer order window to get the updated required margin. This article explains more about the difference/updated margin.
