Hi, I am trying to download historical option data whose contracts are not valid right now. I am using kite.historical_data() api, I provide instrument_token which was valid at that time and period I want the data. I am getting kiteconnect.exceptions.InputException: contract not found error
Can someone please let me know how it is done. Thanks.
How to download historical option data which has expired.
As, stated by Sujith above we provide continuous day interval candle data for expired futures contracts, not for options contracts. Go through the documentation here.
