I downloaded historical data since 2015 (minute), for India Vix. It returned erroneous data from 10-Dec-2018 to 02-Jan-2019. Please see screenshot attached. Leaves me doubtful over reliability of data, I encountered this fault while doing basic manual checking, which cannot be done everytime data is pulled.
Can someone please help me understand? (PS - data was downloaded from 1.1.2015 9:15AM to today, rest of the data looks ok, only this was exception)

Hi @sayali_ghosh1984, Our team is looking into this. We do keep all the data updated, however older data was collated from multiple sources which might have issue. Though this scenario doesn't occur often, we do correct it whenever we find any discrepancy.
@sujith Could you educate me about what are the pecuniary terms as per contractual agreements between client and Zerodha, in case a client suffers actual loss due to erroneous data? Would zerodha reimburse such loss?
