related to ltp in holdings in console

I bought 20-23 stocks through api, in my code in parameter exchange is NSE but when i see that stocks in console holding and report, there are some stocks which have ltp of BSE and that's why overall unrealized pnl and realized pnl did not match.

    in the article, it says that if i particularly select NSE then my stock is stock at NSE exchange. even though, why i am getting BSE price ?

    is it like that even if i select NSE, but if BSE price is higher, i will get BSE price and not NSE ?

    @rakeshr as per article , highest close price taken by system but today that is not happend i bought stock 3 days ago in NSE but why they use BSE and it’s ltp ?

    A holding is just an asset you are holding in your DEMAT. It is not associated with any of the exchanges. For ease of use and visualization, we show the holding based on one of the exchanges. You can read the article as mentioned above to know what is the criteria we use to associate an exchange with the holding.
