I received an email from zerodha that the Tagging feature for derivative trades will discontinued. I wanted to confirm if the tag parameter will be removed from orders API ?

Looks like it will be gone from API as well:

Tagging will only show up in the Kite orderbook but it won't tag the trades. Console tags is being scrapped.

OK, so from the Orders API point of view, nothing changes?

@sujith
This is confusing. Can you please confirm if we will be able to add tags while placing orders using Orders API ?

Nothing changes from API perspective. You can send tags while placing orders.
