Market data (WebSockets)
Hi,
The kws.on_tick seems to be getting called every 0.5 seconds, not 1 second. Is this the defined behavior? I am using python websockets client. This is seen across all segments - cm, fno, commodity and currency.

on_tick
is called every time we receive the data from ticker and there can be multiple ticks per second from the server.

Any idea on the min/max no. of ticks per second? Knowing the min/max will help in better data management on our side.

Hi
@ramatius
,
There can be no ticks or max of 2 ticks per second depending on the volatility.
