How to modify or delete/cancel CO or BO order using PHP

Even after searching a lot, did not find any example using PHP, mostly its Python or Java.
Can some one please help me with this.

In docs, parameters are not string, which is making it difficult for me.

orderModify( type $order_id, type $params, type $variety )
Modify an open order.
Parameters
$order_id
ID of the open order to be modified.
$params
Order parameters to be modified.
$variety
Order variety of the order to be modified (regular, amo etc.).
