redirect and postback url

What should be redirect and post back url?
I m new to this and giving api a try.
I want to do it in vba..
Pls help?
Currently i set 127.0.0.1
Also if i leave postback url(optional) blank, it force me too enter... why?

@gautam_s60 After user authenticates his kite account he will be redirected to redirect url with request_token. and we post order updates to given postback url, please refer documentation - https://kite.trade/docs/connect/v1/#postback-webhooks

what will be redirect and post back url if this is going to be winforms (.net windows) app which will connect to Kite Connect for order placements ?

Redirect URL can be your localhost but postback URL has to be a remote endpoint to which Kite will post data.

Hi @amit_aggrawal321,
It has to be a remote URL, you can't set it up on Windows App. There should be a simple server running all the time.

is there a alternative way to test in localhost, as it will be very tiring to check the stuffs everytime after the deployment in server

One can also use order update via Websocket, if they don't have server.
