Partial fill of stoploss generates "OPEN" postbacks

As can be seen in the screenshot, partial fills of a stoploss order does NOT generate UPDATE postbacks, instead it generates OPEN postbacks. Is this expected?

Yes,this is correct, oms status remains OPEN even in case of partial fill.

@rakeshr Of course order status remains OPEN in case of partial fill. I was told earlier that partial fills trigger UPDATE postbacks.

The order history is different and postback status is different. It is Kite Trade's convention to send UPDATE status for an order when there is a partial fill or when there are intermediate status changes.
The status UPDATE doesn't exist at the OMS. Hence you can't see that in the order history.
