BO parent_order_id behavior

Hi,
When a BO SL order is executed, the parent_order_id is sometimes filled up, sometimes not.

When a BO SL BUY order is COMPLETEd, the txn record's parent_order_id is NULL and the order_id is same as the original SL order_id.

When a BO SL SELL order is COMPLETEd, the txn record's parent_order_id contains the actual parent order id and the order_id is a new order_id.

This is causing complications in the algo execution. Pls explain the reason for this behavior and/or make it uniform & consistent.

Note: Both are fresh SL orders; no prior orders entered.

Are you talking about Postback response?
We checked multiple fresh Bo-SL Buy/Sell orders, we got parent_id for all orders.

You can see that there are several NULL values for parent_order_id column. This table stores whatever is returned by the API.

Can you private message the client id for which you are checking?

If it is a first leg order then it is possible that it will have NULL value.

As mentioned above you are receiving null value for every parent (entry) order, which is correct.
