I subscribed for Kite connect yesterday, it asked for my app since i had to use it for backtesting locally on my system , i filled some dummy url. it allowed me to next billing page where i filled 100 creadits , now in payment histry it is showing 2 transaction of type ZERODHA_DEPOSIT of 1900 rs and 100 rs respectively and one debit transaction type of -2000 Rs. Please confirm , it will be charged from my zerodha account or it is free for Zerodha client since i have a zerodha trading account. I though that i can start by 100 rs that's why i started it , i never told me that it will charged 2000 Rs. Please confirm. Also i want HIstorical data only. What is the procedure to get that..

I have some queries. does zerodha deduct the money for credits immediately when we subscribe or at the end of month ? also please let me know how can we call zerodha Kite connect api on local system? do we need to have public url of our our application or we can use those apis locally in standalone java program? if yes how to get access token? if i have access key.
@Imran Hi Imran, 1. Is there any limit on numbers of hits for historical API , i mean does credit get deducted per API hit? 2. I need only nifty and bank nifty data for 15 min candles for 3-4 years. Is It available via kite connect historical APIs. 3. It would be great if you can you provide 2-3 years NIFTY 50 and NIFTY bank data to test my strategy? i need only nifty and bank nifty data.Otherwise i will subscribe for historical APIs. I have already subscribed for Kite Connect APIs but i did not need them as i will not trade via program. I did not know thats why i subscribed.
historical data is an add-on subscription to kiteconnect.
First, you need to subscribe to kiteconnect then you can subacribe to historical data.
