How to fetch only open positions in the trading account

I want to get only open positions from my account.
I used "kite.positions()", which is fetching all the open and closed positions. How to filter for only open positions?
else is there API method is available to get only open positions?

You need to check the quantity, if not 0 then it is an open position.
