Whats the max for instrument subscribe

Hi,
I can remember somewhere I read in one subscribe we can use 5000 instruments.
When I subscribed for 3300 instruments I received error saying "ERROR:kiteconnect.ticker:Connection error: 0 - Can't subscribe to more than 3000 instruments."</b?

Can you please clarify
