I've got open positions, which is why the debits=1257.48 was also posted along with this. Only when a position is closed, does the Realised margins section gets updated. The unrealised margins is never shown.
It has been this way since inception. Last I checked on the forum a few months back, I read somewhere that it was an issue because of the Thomson Reuters Backend or something. But the issue still persists and is getting slightly difficult to work around it. have to manually log in each time to check it.

We just checked on kite which uses same margins API and I can see unrealised profit for open positions. Can you re-check?

It is showing correct value for sometime and then after pnl changes, it is going wrong. We will followup with TR about this issue.

You should use margins for commodity for commodity positions.
