Equity showing in both Holding and Position when it shouldn't

Hi,

When I check my Zerodha portal, I see my shares in Holdings panel and nothing in Positions (I have don't have any short term trades pending on me.) panel. This is correct behaviour.

Now when I do (in Python) kite.holdings() , I get all the holdings but when I do kite.positions() I get one equity which shouldn't be there. (As stated earlier, it does not appear on the Zerodha positions webpage). It's actually appearing both in holdings and positions. Can you please explain why it might happen?

Is it still showing? Should have been cleared by today morning. We run BOD(beginning of the day) process every trading day morning, that should clear it all.

Hi, I have not traded TCS since April 30th, 2020. I understand T+2 days settlement concept, but its showing in Positions even after around 25 days. (checked today and its still showing)

We don't see any positions in your account on getPositions API. It must be cached at your end.
