Historical Data for expired BankNifty Options

Hello - I recently subscribed for Live and Historical API. I want to download 1 minute OHLC candle data for BankNifty Options that has expired. I understand the Historical api request needs Intrument Id. But the Instruments api does not return the id for expired contracts. I was under the impression that historical F&O data was available since 2015. Could someone please help how I can achieve this?

    Continuous data is not available for an expired option contract, but only for the futures contract. You can go through this documentation.

    How to get instrument tokens for expired options? I am looking for OHLC data of expired options.

    You can check out the documentation as mentioned by @rakeshr You will have to use current month instrument token to fetch continuous data.
