Is the market data for instruments listed in NSE Emerge(SME Growth) Platform available in kiteconnect? If yes, where can I find the instrument tokens for the same
Hi, AFAIK NSE EMERGE is a platform on which SMEs can raise funds. They are not listed companies where you can trade on them. Kite Connect is purely an execution platform wherein you can trade on any listed instruments on NSE, BSE, and MCX.
@sujith What do you mean by we cannot trade on those stocks? I would like to invest in companies that are listed in SME stocks. The following website shows me that a retail investor can indeed buy those shares: How to buy NSE Emerge and BSE SME stocks. I would just like to see the historical prices of the companies so that I can build a portfolio.
@Kousik, Apologies my bad. The source of the instrument dump we get will have the category as EQ only but the trading symbol will have trailing -SM. You can find the instrument token from the instrument dump. You can use these tokens to fetch historical data.
