Does zerodha kite connect support paper trading option

Hi everyone - I'm new to algo world.

1. I have 2 queries, does zerodha support paper trading option ? if so how to do it
2. How to backtest the code written using python client ?

    Kite Connect doesn't provide the paper-trading option.
    You will have to place orders post-market hours. We allow placing orders for the ICICBANK NSE post market.

    No, we currently don't support paper trading.
    How to backtest the code written using python client ?
    You might have to place real order and check. We don't have any in-built functionality to mock this. You have to figure this out at your end.
