Can some one please respond to this. Why are stocks added removed from MIS segment during trading sessions. Your order get locked and you can't exit position.
@keshav_ The equity margin file is updated manually multiple times during the day by RMS team as per the expected volatility. Also, have look to this thread.
As Rakesh explained, the list is updated during the day when volatility in a scrip is higher than normal. This could lead to a reduction in leverage or removal of the stock from MIS/BO/CO. The scrip(s) is then reviewed on a monthly basis and if volatility subsides, the stock is re-added to MIS/BO/CO whitelist.
What happens if I am holding a long MIS position and you ban the script in MIS. I am unable to exit my order!! How are you dealing with this? Forcing a LOSS.
