Kite API - Quota Exceeded

Hi Team,

I am using Historical API during market hours for candle data. I have been using this API since long back but suddenly today I have got an error saying Kite API - Quota Exceeded. I am not sure what exactly this is referring to.

Our API function is such that it would wait for 1-second if we do not get response. Could you suggest what exactly could be reason.

    It seems like you are getting rate limited. You can know more about the API rate limits here.

    Thanks for the reply. I am pretty sure, we didn't hit the API rate limit. Because we are calling the end point once a minute [in screenshot it is visible]. And if we do not get the response, we sleep the function for a second.

    We lost money money today due to this error. If would be great if you could help in detail so that we try to avoid this next time.

    Can you PM me the api_key for which you are facing the above rate-limit issue? We will inspect your request log.
